I planted the peanuts in 30cm deep mulch this time, hoping they would form the peanuts in the mulch rather than the soil so they'd be easier to harvest.

They grew into beautiful thick bushes.

They sent long tendrils down into the mulch to form peanuts.

They were easy to harvest, just rip them out, turn them over and let the bush dry out.

I harvested the peanuts and the goats adored the dry hay.
